Since 2015, Candy People’s headquarters in Malmö has set an example in sustainable energy use. Through solar power, our climate-smart head office, warehouse and wholesale operations are powered entirely by renewable energy.
Solar energy offers many benefits. It is not only an important part of the global fight against climate change, but also has minimal impact on the local environment. In addition, solar power produces no carbon dioxide emissions or other pollutants.
At Candy People, we see solar energy as one of the key elements in the future of energy supply. We aim not only to comply with current sustainability regulations, but also to remain at the forefront of green technology. This commitment is reflected in everything we do, from packaging materials and logistics to our energy supply. For us, it is about creating a greener future for generations to come.
Sustainability and inclusivity are at the heart of our product development. One important area of focus is our vegan confectionery range, which is continuously developed to meet the wishes and needs of our customers.
We are proud that 90% of our range is gelatin-free, making our confectionery accessible to even more sweet lovers.
We want to be transparent: some of our products still contain palm oil. This is because we have not yet found a suitable alternative that provides the same high quality and consistency our customers expect.
To ensure that our use of palm oil is as responsible as possible, we primarily use certified palm oil that is produced with consideration for both environmental and social factors.
However, our work does not stop there. We are committed to continuously reducing the use of palm oil in our products and are actively exploring new solutions with the goal of eliminating it entirely in the future.
